Growing Easton’s Data Garden

Here we were, Summer 2021, helping to launch a new STEM club in Easton, Bristol, for young people to improvise and invent, remix and connect, and investigate the things that matter.

The STEM club involved many kids exploring robots, Minecraft, gardening, STEM related crafts as well as projection mapping and camera workshops.  Our activities were supported by Baggator, Graphic Science and the UWE Bristol Enterprise, knowledge exchange and public engagement fund.

PS: after much deliberation we opted for Painting with Light software for our workshop which the kids happily spent time with; involving projection mapping loops made from their own footage taken around the building and garden.
